ALLEVYN NON-ADHESIVE HYDROCELLULAR DRESSING

This highly absorbent, non-adherent, non-adhesive dressing for moderate to highly exuding wounds. The polyurethane wound contact layer is perforated and allows viscous exudate to pass into the dressing and prevents adherence to the wound. Liquid is absorbed and retained in its microscopic structure by the hydrocellular core of the dressing. The outer pink layer of the dressing is a breathable film that allows moisture to evaporate away from the dressing. It is recommended for wounds surrounded by sensitive skin, such as venous ulcers. Also available in a heel dressing that has been designed for a superior anatomical and comfortable fit to enhance management of wounds on the heel.
